CANADA SPORT MEDICS IS HIRING FOR THE 2022 MOTOCROSS SEASON

With over 150 motocross events on our schedule across the country this year, CANADA SPORT MEDICS is hiring 35 medical professionals for the 2023 Pro Motocross and Amateur Motocross racing season. We are looking for the following:

A-EMCA certified Paramedics, A-EMCA pending graduates, Paramedic Students entering year 2 of a certified Paramedic Program in Ontario, Firefighting and Nursing students and graduates.

Paramedics registered with the Saskatchewan or Alberta College of Paramedics, graduates eligible to apply for registration as PCP's or ACP's with the Saskatchewan or Alberta College of Paramedics, Paramedic Students enrolled in an approved PCP or ACP program, and EMR certified Firefighters and Nurses.

We are seeking qualified, enthusiastic medics to work within the scope of an emergency medical responder for Motocross events across Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan. Successful candidates will be joining a team of highly skilled medics with plenty of experience dealing with trauma patients. As a member of Canada Sport Medics you will be responsible for responding to athletes and bystanders in the most extreme, high velocity, high impact sports, in extremely intense settings.

Those who make the Canada Sport Medics team will:

• Conduct medical assessments and evaluations on injured athletes
• Provide patient care based on priority
• Make further treatment decisions and exercise sound judgment in high intensity, emergency situations
• Work alongside allied resources and provide assessment findings to responding Paramedic and Fire crews
• Be available to work weekends
• Complete Patient Care and Incident Reports
• Maintain trauma bags and equipment
